The PRC's Strategic Trend Line

The PRC operates 19 major shipyards compared to seven for the United States. At the end of World War II, I think we had over 22. And just one of their main shipyards, Jong-un Dao, which is the shipyard that you're seeing the chart of,. That one facility is larger than all seven of ours. It's in terms of geographic space, it's four times the size of Newport News. The Chinese have been out producing at a rate of four or five to one of ours every year for the previous decade. So they're producing a lot of warships and there's warships of consequence.
