I'm quite happy with the idea of skills emerging as a as an interaction would be with a task and within the environment I've got no problem with that but if you're trying to design something to support emergence you've at least got to have some sense in your head about what it is you think's going to emerge. want to achieve so I could put on a game but not really know what that game's trying to achieve. We give too many internal cues to kids too early on it can confuse them and they become almost robotic like in terms of how they work, he says.
