The Coalition of the Reasonable
i feel very sorry for anyone who is a kind of intelligent and thoughtful, non dogmatic moslem. And i think part of the problem with the new atheist approach was that it kind of hid that fact. It hid the fact there was a coalition of the reasonable. If you get rid of that, you haven't got rid of everything that's potentially interesting and useful about religion. So i think it mischaracterizes religion.
