Can You Actually Measure Laughter in the Brain?

In babies, they laugh before they can have any other sort of language. Some researchers think it's sub-cortical, so it goes on under conscious control. The aim of this study was to find out what's going on in the brain when that happens. If you do manage to talk while you're giggling, you're actively suppressing the emotion in your brain.
