In the late 80s and early 90s, software developers would use copy protection on floppy disks to try to keep people from selling their wares. When one of the parents was able to find that without paying for it, that was kind of the justification to say, you know, we want our money back. But fast forward to today, and I would venture to say that your average Android application is just as easy to reverse engineer as my game was in the late 1980s.
