I was curious from a very early age, noticing her depression and wondering what was all about. I don't know the whole context, but it probably has something to do with the fact that my mother, unfortunately, was kitprantic and paranoid. And i had to decode her reality to figure out what actual reality was. What you learn when you do this is it's your responsibility to help the other person be the mirror. You're helped to learn how to pay attention to the other person and to recognize that it's your job to help them follow you.
