The Metaverse and Hybrdization
In the digital realm, you have much more freedom about your identity. And i think quite a lot of this is an outgrowth of now a like a full generation of people who are as much in virtual escapest realms as they are in reality. This is what the metaverse is offering us. The shift from the matrix to ready player one is superimportant. When readyplayer one came out, i remember people criticising it because they said that spilberg wasn't critical enough of the digital space. But i think that's because spielberg knew what was coming int at least he knew that we would reach a moment now.
