Honest UX Talks
How to Structure a Conversation to Get Feedback
If you are very clear about the goal you have in mind when you open that conversation, like be very specific. You want to frame the conversation and you're going to get more targeted feedback. Sometimes I would just rapidly pop up the work I'm currently doing in a meeting and tell them, hey, here's where I'm at. Treat it like intermediary stage to something but tell me how you feel. Tell me if you spot any problems. If you feel like the problem I'm trying to solve is addressed then sometimes even less formal feedback can surface a lot of interesting insights. The point is to just have these conversations. So just go ahead and ask for feedback as often as possible.
