The Effect of Mutation on Scaleless Scales
We have previously shown that there are scaleless beardy dragons. And in this case, it's the EDA gene of the same pathway that is mutated. But for some reason, the corn snakes are holding on to their ventral scales, their belly scales. That was what intrigued us a lot because we knew from the beardy dragon that if you prefer the EDA, normally you should lose all your skills. So how did you tease apart that those relationships between those genes, the mutation and the scale less.
