A scorpion on earth, can probably most of them live life somewhere between seven and 25 years. One of the advantages to having a long life span is that an individual person can just contribute more before they die. It'll build character for the species. How related are spiders and scorpions? They're not each other's closest relatives, but they're part of a group that is all each others' closest relatives. Do you want our creatures to have tails?
