London in winter can be depressing, but there's a different character to the city. It reminds you of being a child and how sad you felt when you had to go back to school with your new school uniform - it just makes you want to cry. There is something romantic about the streets in the centre of town at night; it reminds you of sherlock holmes and charles dickens,. And the pubs are a lot more inviting.
