The church invites us to make an examination of conscience every single day. St. Ignatius of L'Oy'lil called it the consciousness examine. A lot of Jesuits will do this more than once in a day, says Pope Francis. "I actually get a pulse on, okay, am I consistently saying yes to God or am I dismissing God?" he asks.
