The idea of what happens in one generation often repeats itself in the next is built into god's very nature. And so that's al in families, for example, things like divorce and abuse and addictions being passed on generation of generation. But then we become a christian, we birth into the new family of jesus, into a new culture, a jesus family. And discipleship is being reparented in that family. Our first a family is god's family.
