How to Destroy Rubble Pile Asteroids
The European Space Agency has tested a drag augmentation deorbiting system or ADO on their ion satellite carrier. This is sort of like a solar sail that was deployed by this spacecraft. The higher you go, the longer the debris stays in orbit around the Earth. Destroying rubble pile asteroids is practically impossible.
