Hegel's Dialectic Thesis

Hegel: Maybe so many of the beliefs that we have about the way that things should be, maybe, in a strange sense, they were complete out of our control from the beginning. Hegel even plays out this socrates example to explain how this individual sense of morality may have come about. In today's world, what socrates did may have only brought about something that we would see as a better world. But hegel points out that bringing about the change he did required this sort of ebrasive corruption.
