The Cross Is Counterintuitive

Good Friday is only good because of what happens on Sunday, Paul says. The cross means that there's nothing that comes into my life that I cannot overcome as Jesus has already overcome on my behalf. If we are in Christ, we don't have to live a defeated life. We're not fighting for victory, but we're fighting from victory. That greater is he that is in us than he who is in the world.
