The Expectation Effect
The idea for the expectation effect emerged when I was going through depression and I started taking these antidepressants. The doctor's warnings in many cases could prime you to experience those headaches. So it is enough just to kind of keep an open mind. We must deny the possibility that there could be a kind of biological reaction that alone is causing our pain but we could also just try to avoid that catastrophe that I mentioned.
