I would argue both because if you argued as Daniel Dennett might argue that these are digital minds they're replicas in some sense there's no distinction between a digital mind and a real human being. Therefore you can't really just turn it off if people have developed attachments to it. Totally. I my mom develops attachments to sort of inanimate objects and for example a car that we used to own but when we were selling the car she felt like this heartbreak of the car sort of leaving the family. So I think that's sort of a human condition that we develop attachments to all kinds of things obviously other humans. It's obvious one but in this case synthetic humans let's call it
