The Falsification of Language
What is the self? I think as soon as you say anything about the self, you're falsifying. It's one of the many themes brought up in the book because I don't seem to be very good at being pithy. We start to have an idea of things being more concrete and unchanging than they actually are. A recent study done which showed that when people name something that was seen in a photograph, they can remember much less about it than if they just looked at the photograph.
