The name of the game with MEV is who can get their transactions in first. And this is what we went back to like the very beginning when I said centralized exchanges versus decentralized. This latency game is extremely hard for decentralized exchanges to actually kind of like compete against centralized exchanges, right? It's just crazy how different MEV is and how much it should be on each chain.
Host and Co-founder of Delphi Tom Shaughnessy sits down with Can Gurel and Ceteris of Delphi Digital Research's Infrastructure team to discuss their Year Ahead for Infrastructure Report.
Themes covered include
- Recreating the centralized exchange experience on chain.
- Modular vs monolithic
- App-specific vs general purpose
- Developers choosing which chains to build on and why
- Developer vs consumer build mismatch
- IBC and the future of bridging.
- IBC to Ethereum
- Chainlink as an important player in cross-chain interoperability for EVM chains
- MEV considerations across Ethereum, Cosmos and other chains.
- Wallet Wars; quest to become the superapp (Standard Wallets vs Smart Contracts vs MPC Wallets)
