The Politics of Family Dynasties

We had a lot of feedback from our political conspiracy episode. And there were also a couple things that I wanted to amend or corrections, which we're grateful for all of these. Kelly M wrote into us and I'm going to read a portion of this letter because I want to take a look at this. It was stated that there should be a law that if someone in your immediate family is in politics, you cannot hold the same or similar office. While I agree with that family dynasties do not line up with the idea of America being a meritocracy, let's be real. Can we really call America a meritocracy anymore?
