The Risks of Patellar Femoral Pain
If you've had patellar femoral pain in the past, that part of your body is a little bit more susceptible to injury when you do go make a training load error. A smaller vastus medialis oblique portion of your quadriceps also doesn't seem to predict someone whether they're going to develop patella-femoral pain. The other one that's really important are not just rapid spikes, but also in a variety of training load. We know that sport specialization increases one's risk of developing patellas by about 50%.
