How to Comfort a Baby When They Cry
Magda said she would ask the baby, why do you cry? to open up that dialogue with the baby and it calms a conversation. It starts right there in infancy and it becomes this conversation and the baby will tell you they will tell you. We get better at reading and understanding their communication and their signals if we really want to understand them. They also get better at telling us what it is that they need. And we're not projecting, you know, it's a much different thing than just automatically responding or projecting or trying to quiet them.
