I tell the story of being with my beloved sister-in-law Esta as she was dying of cancer coming back and forth to her house. I got up one morning right toward the end of her life, hurried to get down to be near her. She'd had a long time without oxygen. Nothing that doctors probed and shouted and touched and tried to get a response from her for a week, brain dead, zero. But those few words, so mysterious.
