Corbo's Excavation Reports of the Gesemane Grotto

The gesemane grotto was a natural limestone cave that, some time around the first century had been re purposed into an agricultural facility. It sites on the west slope of the mount of olives, but this cave is oriented slightly to the north, so it actually has a natural opening facing north. Within this cave there seems to have been three natural bedrock pillars that supported the the natural bedrock ceiling. And once you were to enter this grotto from the north, You're now entering an interior space within the natural grotto that is roughly 60 by 36 feet in dimensions. So yo can get a sense of pretty cave. It's pretty good size. But one of the features
