Painting With Zorn Palette

The two kinds of workshops that I teach one involves a really limited palette and the other one involves a split primary palette. In both workshops, we do a ton of pre-mixing based on direct observation from life of still life. So in portrait and figure painting, I use a three color palette. Also I teach with the Zorn palette, which is yellow ochre, cadmium red, and ivory black.
