Bob Greene: I'm someone who believes i love all people. And i think the whistling is, to some extent, an extension of that. It's almost ike social lubricant. Who doesn't like something joyous? He says it helps him be kind of ecuminical; humans tend to be tribal. Greene: Some people just don't get it. They didn't say anythithing, nothing, nothing. You got to hear him whistle.
