Domes and the History of Art History

In its day, Hagia Sophia was probably the most impressive dome ever made. It would have dwarfed the pantheon in Istanbul and inspired Bruneleschi's dome in Florence. The more you dig into this, you realize this whole complex web of art and culture and progress. And together, I think we've been able to tie a bunch of threads together into what is a pretty cool tapestry.
