A belligerent state can now hyperinflate the currency and tap into the savings of the entire population. So, once again, it's no surprise that the expansion of warfare in the 20th century went hand in hand with the expansion of money supplies. My biggest problem right now is I see the Fed hiking into a recession, which we've never done before. We're definitely going into a deep recession Q1, Q2, and right now the stock markets are kind of blowing this off. The real underlying economy is a disaster Yeah, certainly is.
