The Hygiene Hypothesis for the Rise of Allergies

So what do you think about the hygiene hypothesis for the rise of of alergies? And and i'll just denote a quick anecdote. My father grew up on a farm in oklahoma with no running water, and they used an outhouse,. They had bunch of farm animals around that they slaughtered themselves. So he was undoubtedly exposed to a whole array of of things that  i was not exposed to in my more protected childhood. And all i can say is, a, it makes sense. It's consistent with a lot of stuff. A, proving it is another matter. e, i don't know what we should do, other than letting our children eat things off the floor
