propaganda minister joseph gerbles saw an opportunity in the horrific attack on dresden. Gerbles was a small man who knew how to tell a big story. He wasn't the showman that hitler was, but his talents were more subtle. The nose propaganda ster killed himself just a few months later when berlin fell to the red army. But he planted one last poison pill into the world. It's almost double the number of british people who were killed by german bombs during the blitz in 19 forty.
