Nicha began to approach ideas and moral systems from the angle of assessing why someone would believe this, rather than srict assessing whether a statement was logically valid or not. And what he finds is that people are going to believe what they want to believe, what it feels good to believe. So repeatedly throughout nicha's work, he assesses a n philosophical assertion, and then, quite aside from the question of its validity, accuses people of making the assertion because it is pleasurable, as he puts it.
