"Despite all of the emotional intelligence work I've done, all of the psychology understanding that I have and despite the fact that I even knew that I was not even trying to raise it's still led to a feeling of loss," he says. "You cannot avoid the raw pain that comes from losing and seeing yourself at the bottom of the hierarchy, so to speak" The winner effect is an extremely pleasant state of mind in which you feel open and confident and self assured.
