The second book i want to talk about is called empire of wild by sheri demeline. This novel focuses on joan, a matee woman who's part of the indigenous community of first nations. She left her small rural community when she was young, and went out and sees the world then comes home with a husband. But 11 months later, they still haven't seen victor. The real journey is in all these separate voices that meld together which basically provide a story of trama and substance abuse.
