Is There a Way Too Much Freedom for Professors?

i think, you know, there are several interesting things about this quote. Part of what's interesting in relation to the rights, kind of current critiques of academia is that he's actually attacking the ideal of academic freedom. He thinks it's enabling these professors to abrogate their responsibilities to the nation and and society. And so,  in a sense, his problem is that there's, there's a way too much freedom for facultynd.
