In your book, Am, you talk about modernity's disenchanting of the world. You say our need for meaning has been cleverly coopted and fulfilled by consumer capitalism. And this is part of what activists are reacting against when we become activists. I really want to unpack that of it, because i think there's a lot of stuff in there around relationship, around sense of identity and connection, belonging,. system that then can have been designed to satiate that deeper need, but really doesn't even hit the sides. It's not just consumerism that feeds my yearning for 'am' There are other forces that feed me ou too - social mediorty
