Chat GPT is so disruptive because in some sense expands the range of people who could suffer, including the culture producing elites class that you've described. Who benefits? Who might benefit from this? I think there will be a lot of benefits, partly because one of the biggest problems with computers has required a certain amount of technical knowledge to get it to function. The more technical the problem, the better technology is at the solution.

New technology seems to be revolutionizing our world on a daily basis. ChatGPT — which has been used by more than a million people — might replace internet search engines and possibly your job. How should Christians deal with these machines that can communicate facts, create business plans, and do homework at the push of a button?
