Why I Chose the Field of Marriage and Family, Human Development
I grew up in a very conservative religious home and had kind of an ideal childhood, honestly. My parents are incredible. The only thing that my parents weren't great at in the parenting realm was sex education. It just wasn't something that we talked about. So you know, who can really blame them? Yeah. And so that's what my goal was when I went to grad school, I wanted to become the person that I needed.And hopefully I can be that for other people, specifically other Christians or people from conservative religious groups who have some sexual morals, but also want to be educated.
