The Disassociation of the Working Class From Citizenship in Singapore and Dubai
In places like Singapore and Dubai what we see is the disassociation of a nation's working classes. The hyper-capitalist city-states so beloved by radical libertarians ban trade unions, opposition parties. A really basic powerful way to limit or eliminate democracy is to simply radically circumscribe the demos.
