When you go to recruiting events for companies, their job is to sell you on kind of the shiny side of the business. And some people had the kind of experience that I got sold on, but others didn't. As a consultant, you're basically a problem solver for that company and whatever problems come up, whatever they may be, you're going to end up having to work on it whether it's fun or not. It might be sexy or it might be groundwork. You just never know what you are going to get.
