From 23rd April until the end of April 2020, accidental poisonings with household disinfectant rose 121% in the US. Nearly 1,000 people threw away all the previous evidence that they had about how dangerous these substances were based on President Trump's musing at a press conference. So despite our belief that today people are far more skeptical than ever, the truth is that presented in the right way people will still believe new ideas.
