The Self-Certifying Namespace in IPFS
IPFS is a new type of file system that uses self-certifying records. This means you don't need to talk to the internet to validate your content. It gives you the ability to change content in a decentralized way, where you don't have any central authority whatsoever. You end up giving up on human readable naming but there's ways to add it back later.
