The Psalms: A Quiet Collection
Once Psalm Summer is over, our plan is to have all the red Psalms live in the Quiet Collection app as a Psalms collection. We'll enclose a few words from you two singer Bono in conversation with Eugene Peterson when talking about the Psalms several years ago. He says, the Psalmist is brutally honest about the explosive joy that he's feeling and the deep sorrow or confusion. And I often think, why isn't church music more like that? I find a lot of dishonesty in Christian art.
