The only country I can think of which managed to avoid that is Ireland, where they tend to have a non-political president as much as that's possible. But in other countries, the tension between the powers of the president and the power of the parliament often cause loads and loads of problems. So we'll see what happens. The prediction is that they'll have to adjust what they do and their style quite a lot to retain the support of majority of people.
