Lambdon usually didn't fall asleep until after all of the performances. But this strange drumming was a tranquilizer, closing his eyes and dropping him further into his seat. Suddenly, there was a roaring sound, as if from a displeased dinosaur. The submarine turned another few times and came to arrest right side up. All they could see through the pork holes was absolute darkness. Gasp went up throughout the cabin. They stood in their seats to see one terrifying source of light from the outside world. There, through the darkness, they saw the backside of an enormous set of teeth.The sleep submarine had been swallowed.
