Ashley: Cash you get from a cash out refinance is tax free. Because it's not income, it's debt to the technical that you're taking on. So you're not taxed on whatever those proceeds are. That's why you see a lot of really successful real estate investors where they make the majority of their money by buying commercial properties and fixing them up. And so we are actually having them just take the funds to pay off that credit card.
