What Was It Like to Let Go of the PhD?
I have never regretted that decision since since I've made it. It's yeah, it was a major weight off my shoulders. And really what it was, it allowed me to go just sink deeper into what I really wanted to do. Every minute every second that I was learning some obscure statistical analysis for my dissertation was a second or a minute that I wasn't getting better at what I actually cared about.
