There's a couple of entities that have openly stated that they're working to demonetize new sources. GDI, the Global Disinformation Index, and NewsGuard are two of these organizations. Both of those have actually received massive funds from the federal government. The idea that government's going to decide what speech is appropriate or not is wrong as you can be.
