What Are You Doing Upstream?
A good 80% of kernel changes introduced by companies that ship Linux devices should really be done upstream first. The product cycle is relentless, you have to ship in many cases something every six months or once a year. And so for you to really engage with the upstream community in the process of doing that is seen as something that isn't profitable or productive.
