Jarrett had strokes in early 2018 and is essentially no longer playing. There's a wonderful line, it's not healthy being both the ventriloquist and the dummy. This album has actually launched a really interesting debate. Jarrett certainly is there, among the very greatest of jazz pianists for the last few decades.
